Nepenthes Sanguinea

N. sanguinea is a very easy to grow Nepenthes species and is commonly one of the first Nepenthes that most people grow, next to N. ventricosa or N. x ventrata. A number of varieties and coloration variations exist in cultivation. It can be grown in warmer intermediate conditions or true highland conditions with equal success. It is also tolerant of lower humidity conditions and has been reported to produce pitchers in 20% or less humidity with strong lighting.
